Rocket Griffon H Hasbro G4561
A heavy Balance-type Bey that splits into two spinning tops mid-battle and runs on one of the best bits in the game, the Hexa. The trade-off: luck often decides for the Rocket Griffon, and the lower part of the blade is fragile: a spare copy does no harm.
Description
Picture the Rocket Griffon blade as two Beys stacked on top of each other that come apart mid-battle: from then on, both keep spinning separately. The upper part is built for attack and runs on a spring-loaded flat tip; the lower part is more defensive and carries a wide metal ring. Once separated, the flat upper part rams the opponent from below, while the taller lower part blocks attacks. Only the lower part counts for scoring, though.
Assembled, the Rocket Griffon H weighs 63.8 g, a lot for a Balance-type Bey: the weight gives it momentum and helps it hold its spin. The Hexa bit brings a defense stat of 35, also high for a Balance-type Bey: it gives a low, steady centre of gravity that makes knockouts harder.
By tournament points, the Hexa bit ranks 1st of 49 bits and the Rocket Griffon blade 12th of 111 blades (as of 1 September 2026). BeybladeGeeks count the Hexa bit among the best bits in the whole game. BeyCorner and BeybladeGeeks consistently praise the Hexa bit for its burst resistance. BeybladeGeeks consider the Rocket Griffon itself simply overpowered, and that straight out of the box. According to BeybladeGeeks, left-spinning opponents cannot steal spin from the Rocket Griffon because two parts spin separately; they saw the attempt to outlast it that way in the final seconds fail more than once. In okuyama3093's tier list (S to D) the Rocket Griffon blade gets the top grade S; in bey_bee's tier list (X to B+) it also gets an S, the third-highest tier there. BeyCorner, by contrast, calls the Rocket Griffon a luck machine: the upper part can also hit its own lower part, and then it is suddenly one against two instead of two against one. On durability, the verdict on the Rocket Griffon blade is mostly critical, among others from ilinnuc and BeyCorner. ilinnuc observes that the thin, hollow plastic spokes on the lower part of the Rocket Griffon chip and crack, something the Hasbro version does not seem to have fixed either, and therefore advises buying a second copy right away.
The Bey was released on 25 April 2026 in Japan by Takara Tomy, there as Bullet Griffon H. Hasbro releases it as Rocket Griffon H in the Infinity Starter Pack, which came out in the USA on 15 July 2026.
The Rocket Griffon H belongs to the UX series, the Unique Line of Beyblade X. It has no separate ratchet: the ratchet is built into the lower part of the blade, and the bit plugs straight into it. Swapping the bit still changes how it runs. The blade and the Hexa bit are approved for WBO tournaments. As a Starter Pack it comes with a launcher, so you can get going straight away.
