Description
With the Winder Launcher you launch the Bey with a ripcord, the winder: it is a Ripcord Launcher, not a String Launcher with a cord. It has no built-in grip.
ilinnuc rates the Winder Launcher as really good and worth the money. That Hasbro sells the Winder Launcher separately instead of including it, ilinnuc calls brazen, though: according to ilinnuc, the Hasbro starter sets contain a weaker, prototype-style launcher.
In Japan, the Winder Launcher came out from Takara Tomy in October 2023, in the Battle Entry Set. Hasbro brought it to stores as a standalone pack in late May 2024 in Canada and in early June 2024 in the US. This Hasbro edition is black.
The Winder Launcher launches right-spin Beys only; for a left-spin Bey you need a separate left-spin launcher. The box contains only the launcher; you buy the Bey and the Beystadium separately. It is compatible with the Beybattle Pass.
