1 / 9Typical questions from bladers
An Attack-type Bey that bets everything on one big hit: the Expand Blade concentrates all of its weight on one side, and the low 1-50 ratchet is probably the best part in the box. The Ignition bit costs stamina in return – and a bit swap alone won't do the job here.
The Blitz Bahamut is a right-spin Attack-type Bey from the CX line, and it goes all in: according to BeybladeGeeks, every piece of its blade carries its weight on the same side, so that one single large attack point is created – built for the one-hit knockout. Its Expand Blade is put together from the Lock Chip Bahamut, the Metal Blade Blitz, the Over Blade Break and the Assist Blade Knuckle; below them sit the 1-50 ratchet and the Ignition bit. The Ignition bit runs on 16 teeth instead of the usual 12 – that brings faster Xtreme Dashes, but according to BeybladeGeeks it costs stamina.
At 48.1 g it is one of the heavier Attack-type Beys, and that weight carries the momentum the big hit is made of. The 1-50 ratchet sets it as low as it can go: a height of 50 is low even among Attack-type Beys, and according to BeybladeGeeks nothing goes lower – exactly right for diving under an opponent. At the same time, a low Bey gives opposing blades less surface to attack.
By tournament points, the 1-50 ratchet stands at rank 6 of 36 ratchets and the Over Blade Break at rank 3 of 6 (as of 1 September 2026). For BeybladeGeeks, the 1-50 ratchet is probably the highlight of the box. There is criticism all the same: BeybladeGeeks find the 1-50 a little wobbly on this particular blade, and in their view some blades run better on a slightly taller ratchet. BeybladeGeeks' rule of thumb for the Blitz Bahamut: balance the blade first, then add stamina, for example with a Level bit. Their overall verdict stays sober nonetheless: “okay”, with the potential to hit really hard, but still beatable by common tournament combos, and for them the Expand Blades are not yet enough to shift the meta.
The Bey was released on 28 March 2026 in Japan, where Takara Tomy sells it as Bahamut Blitz BK1-50I in the starter and in the Start Dash Set C. Hasbro releases it as Blitz Bahamut BK 1-50I in the Infinity Starter Pack.
There is a launcher in the box, so you can get started right away. The CX line is the custom line of Beyblade X; blade, ratchet and bit can be freely swapped for other parts of the system.
Every part of this blade is interchangeable with other CX components. Stats from the Hasbro packaging — performance may vary. Weights approximate.
