Clip & Rip Launcher Set Hasbro G2350

The Main Blade Blast is one of the most popular tournament blades in the CX line, and its high weight puts force behind every hit. On top of that comes the Clip & Rip Launcher, whose rack tucks away into its own compartment. The Turbo with its switching tip is more for casual rounds, and the Assault Assist Blade is also worth swapping out for competition.

Description

Blast Pegasus A Tr is a heavy Attack-type Bey built around the Main Blade Blast: at 52.2 g it sits on the heavy side for an Attack Bey, and that weight puts force behind its hits and helps it hold its spin. In the Clip & Rip Launcher Set it comes together with the Clip & Rip Launcher.

The Blade Blast Pegasus A is made up of the Lock Chip Pegasus, the Main Blade Blast and the Assist Blade Assault. Compared with the first Pegasus from the UX line, the shape has changed only a little: three protrusions, the typical silhouette of an Attack Bey. Below it sits the Turbo, the very first bit in which ratchet and bit are one single part. On launch, centrifugal force pushes two sliders outward and extends a thin, sharp tip designed for stamina. When the spin drops, the tip retracts and the Bey carries on on flat edges: now it moves aggressively and catches the Xtreme Line more easily for an Xtreme Dash. It does not pick up fresh momentum from the switch, though: contrary to the advertising, it regains neither stamina nor speed, and the switch itself actually costs stamina. Visually, the Bey is a homage to the Pegasus of the Metal Fight era.

By tournament points, the Main Blade Blast ranks 11th of 110 blades and the Assist Blade Assault 14th of 16 Assist Blades (as of 1 September 2026). According to the Beyblade Wiki, Blast has been the most popular Main Blade since its release in Japan and is regularly used in B4 and WBO tournaments. BeyCorner counts Blast among the strongest Main Blades of the entire CX line right now, but mostly sees it in tournaments without the included Assault. Instead of the Assault Assist Blade, BeybladeGeeks recommend Heavy or Wheel: if you have one of them, you should try it here. BeybladeGeeks find the Turbo really poor in stamina and not particularly strong in tournaments, but pretty cool when it switches over and goes on the attack. BeyCorner sees the Turbo as a fun gimmick, more for casual rounds than for tournaments. In bey_bee's ranking (X to B+), the Blade Blast Pegasus (Lock Chip + Blade) gets an SS, the second-highest tier, and okuyama3093 gives it an S on a scale of S to D. For BeybladeGeeks, Blast Pegasus is a pretty much essential CX Bey: if you don't have a Pegasus yet, this set is made for you.

Takara Tomy released the Bey in Japan on 19 July 2025 as PegasusBlast ATr, as a starter in the green Metal Coat edition. Hasbro brings it to the West as Blast Pegasus A Tr in the Clip & Rip Launcher Set, also in the green Metal Coat edition; in the USA the set came out on 15 May 2026. This set brought the Turbo to the West for the first time.

The Clip & Rip Launcher is a Ripcord Launcher: you launch it with a toothed rack, whereas a String Launcher works with a string; which one sits better in your hand is a matter of taste. It folds up, and you can store a Beyblade in a built-in compartment, so everything stays together. The grip is already built in, and launcher accessories do not fit on it. On the set with Blast Pegasus, BeybladeGeeks especially praise the built-in compartment, in which the rack disappears instead of sticking out.
