Drop Attack Battle Set Hasbro G0842
A battle set that also comes with genuinely good Beys: the Hover Wyvern Blade is among the most successful in tournaments, and Impact Drake brings two top parts with its 9-60 Ratchet and Low Rush Bit. The Drop Attack Beystadium with its raised Xtreme Line is made for wild rounds just for fun rather than for tournaments.

Hover Wyvern 3-85NeedleDescription
In the Drop Attack Beystadium the X-Celerator Rail sits raised: whoever catches it accelerates into the Xtreme Dash, called Air Ride Xtreme Dash in the anime. BeybladeGeeks see exactly this as what sets the Drop Attack Beystadium apart from other stadiums: the Beys ride up the rail, jump off and crash down onto their opponent from above, like in the arena from the anime. The jump ramp is fairly large, but the battle area itself is clearly smaller than in the standard stadium, with an outer ring and a very small inner ring. Dodging is hardly possible, and the Beys almost inevitably run into each other. Points are scored in four knockout zones in the corners, worth 2 points each, and in an Xtreme Finish zone in the centre, worth 3 points. Because so much here runs over the rail, the Bit matters especially: it has to carry the Bey up the Xtreme Line.
Impact Drake 9-60LR is a right-spinning Attack-type Bey with four wings and red rubber at its contact points. At 47.1 g it sits on the heavy side for an Attack-type Bey: that gives its hits momentum and helps it hold its spin. Hover Wyvern 3-85N is classified as a right-spinning Defense-type Bey; its Blade has projections pointing upward and downward and is heavily hollowed out at the back. With a defense value of 60, the Blade rates high for a Defense-type Bey: it takes hits better and deflects them.
By tournament points, the Hover Wyvern Blade ranks 6th of 110 Blades (as of 1 September 2026). BeybladeGeeks consistently praise Hover Wyvern for its attack: although it is classified as a Defense-type Bey, for them it plays like a wild attacker, and at the World Championship the Hasbro-exclusive Bey was one of the standouts, partly because the players from Japan had no experience with it. The Needle Bit and the 3-85 Ratchet rank 31st of 49 Bits and 33rd of 36 Ratchets and are worth swapping: with custom combinations, BeybladeGeeks see even more potential in Hover Wyvern than out of the box. Impact Drake's strengths lie elsewhere: its 9-60 Ratchet ranks 2nd of 36 Ratchets, its Low Rush Bit 3rd of 49 Bits and its Blade 24th of 110. BeybladeGeeks count 9-60 and Low Rush among the fixtures of tournament combinations, and it is exactly these parts that make Impact Drake worthwhile for them; for the Blade, they advise getting one or two spare Blades because it wears out quickly. For ilinnuc, Impact Drake is not the strongest tournament Bey, but still really strong. In tier lists the Impact Drake Blade does well: XVMax_Siegbey gives it an S (scale SSS to D), bey_bee an A+ (scale X to B+) and okuyama3093 an A (scale S to D). BeybladeGeeks have mixed views on the Drop Attack Beystadium itself: in their view it plays weak and unpredictable in competition, and the narrow battle area is its biggest weakness, since the Beys have more room in the Takara Tomy stadium; for casual rounds, though, they find it fun and pretty cool.
In the Beyblade X anime the arena is called Flying Stadium: in episode 69 Bite introduces it, and in episode 72 Team Pen Dragon and Team Zodiac fight their big title match in it. In the anime, Impact Drake is Khrome Ryugu's Bey. In episode 71 Khrome is handed it as a forbidden Bey, with one condition: at the first defeat, the Bey has to go back to the leader.
Hasbro released the Drop Attack Battle Set in May 2025, in Australia, the USA and Canada among other places. Impact Drake has been available from Takara Tomy in Japan as a starter of its own (UX-11) since 28 December 2024, but from Hasbro only in this set.
The box contains the Drop Attack Beystadium, the two Beys Impact Drake 9-60LR and Hover Wyvern 3-85N from the UX line, and two Basic Launchers. These are ripcord launchers that you launch with a toothed rip cord. The Beystadium is approved for the X Open format. If you put Blade, Ratchet and Bit together in new ways, you change how the Bey runs.
