1 / 7Typical questions from bladers
The Wand Wizard blade is built for stamina, not hard hits, and has sat at the top of the tournament meta for more than two years. Blade, ratchet and bit are all top performers and form the basis of many successful tournament combos.
Out of the box, Wand Wizard runs as an Attack-type Bey: in Beyblade X the bit decides the type, and under this blade sits a Rush bit. The blade itself is round and smooth, made of heavy metal, with five small but thick wings, and its weight sits far out towards the edge. The Xtreme Line is the outer track of the Beyblade X stadium; a Bey that catches it accelerates into an Xtreme Dash. The Rush bit is flat and thin and has only ten teeth on its gear instead of twelve: it slows the Xtreme Dash down slightly and so saves stamina.
The stats on the box show what the blade is made for. Its stamina value of 60 is in the upper range for an Attack-type Bey, so the blade keeps spinning longer in long battles. Its attack value of 15, on the other hand, is low for an Attack-type Bey: hard hits are not its strength.
In tournaments, hardly any part ranks higher: by tournament points, the Wand Wizard blade is 2nd of 110 blades, the 1-60 ratchet 1st of 36 ratchets and the Rush bit 2nd of 49 bits (as of 1 September 2026). For BeybladeGeeks, the Wand Wizard blade is the benchmark among Stamina-type Beys that all others are measured against: on the market for more than two years and still right at the top of the meta. BeybladeGeeks, ilinnuc and BeyCorner consistently praise its stamina. If you want to play it for stamina, LeftBurst points the way: LeftBurst rates the Wand Wizard blade on a Hexa bit as the best combination in the game, and none of the custom bits tested could match it. In the tier lists of bey_bee (X to B+) and okuyama3093 (S to D), the Wand Wizard blade gets the top tier in each. The base is in demand too: ilinnuc counts the 1-60 ratchet among the elite ratchets, comfortably among the three most played. In the Rush bit, ilinnuc sees a Hall-of-Fame-calibre bit, partly because it holds its power fairly evenly for quite a long time, longer than flat bits such as Low Flat and Under Flat. BeybladeGeeks openly address the downside: the Wand Wizard blade is so strong that some communities ban it from their tournaments, and in a video from June 2026 they also use the words “overrated” and “played too often”.
The Bey was first released on 13 July 2024 in Japan, by Takara Tomy as Wizard Rod 1-60R in Random Booster Vol. 4. Hasbro has been releasing it in Europe since February 2025 as Wand Wizard 1-60R in the green Starter Pack, which is the edition you get here.
Blade, ratchet and bit are all three approved for the WBO tournament format (as of July 2026). The Bey belongs to the UX line, the Unique Line in Beyblade X; if you reassemble blade, ratchet and bit in new combinations, you also change how it runs.
Every part of this blade is interchangeable with other UX components. Stats from the Hasbro packaging — performance may vary. Weights approximate.
