Ring Aether 0-80DS Hasbro G4571

A Defense Bey that wins on mass: it is built heavy, and that keeps it in the battle for a long time. Its weak spot is burst resistance — the Disk Spike bit is worth swapping, ideally for a Low Rush bit.

Description

The Ring Aether 0-80DS is a right-spin Defense Bey that decides its battles on mass and stability. Its bit is what gives you the picture: the Disk Spike has a needle-like tip that holds the middle of the stadium and keeps the Bey running at a fairly leisurely pace there. A ring runs around the needle of the Disk Spike bit, meant to right the Bey again after a tip-over. In BeybladeGeeks' tests, though, that does little, because by then the stamina is gone anyway. On the 0-80 ratchet above it, the zero in the name is a little misleading: the ratchet is round, with no prongs at its rim, but three square faces project a good way out of its underside, scraping across the stadium floor when the Bey tips and making it more prone to bursting. At Hasbro the Bey goes by Ring Aether, at Takara Tomy by the name of its blade: Heavens Ring 0-80DS.

48.1 g of weight is a lot for a Defense Bey, and that is exactly what this Bey lives on: mass brings momentum with it and helps hold the spin.

If you want to play the Ring Aether seriously, start with the bit: according to BeybladeGeeks, a Low Rush bit holds many times more firmly than the Disk Spike. If you have a Low Rush, give it a try here. BeybladeGeeks credit the Disk Spike bit with the lowest burst resistance in all of Beyblade X: its thin shaft slips out of the blade under even light pressure. BeybladeGeeks would rather swap the 0-80 ratchet for a 60 ratchet too. A 60 ratchet is a low ratchet; a low Bey gives opposing blades less surface to attack. By tournament points the 0-80 stands 31st of 36 ratchets. The blade itself, though, is thoroughly competitive and holds 31st of 111 blades (as of 1 September 2026).

The Bey was first released on 12 May 2026 in Canada, from Hasbro in the Ring Aether 0-80DS Infinity Starter Pack. In Japan it has been in Takara Tomy's Random Booster Vol. 11 since 11 July 2026.

A launcher comes with the Starter Pack, so you can get started right away. The Bey belongs to the BX line, and blade, ratchet and bit are all three approved for the WBO tournament format (as of July 2026). In Beyblade X the parts can be freely recombined. So nothing stands in the way of that bit swap.
