Yell Kong 3-60GB and Helm Knight 5-80T Dual Pack Hasbro G0198
A Stamina Bey and a Balance Bey in one box: Yell Kong 3-60GB and Helm Knight 5-80T. In tournaments, the 3-60 Ratchet and the Taper Bit are the parts most in demand, while the Gear Ball Bit is one you should swap out.

Knight Shield 5-80TaperDescription
The Dual Pack brings two play styles together: Yell Kong 3-60GB wins as a Stamina Bey by spinning longer, while Helm Knight 5-80T, as a Balance Bey, mixes attack and stamina.
Yell Kong runs low: the 3-60 Ratchet with its three identical prongs keeps it low, and a low bey offers opposing Blades less surface to attack. Beneath it sits the Gear Ball Bit, a round tip whose gear ring reaches all the way down. As the round counterpart to the Gear Flat Bit, it catches the Xtreme Line more easily and is meant to keep the bey upright for longer. The Yell Kong Blade brings a stamina value of 50, a high value for a Stamina Bey, which keeps the spin going longer in long battles. At 39.5 g, Yell Kong is on the light side for a Stamina Bey: that makes it agile, but gives it less momentum to hold its spin. ilinnuc describes Yell Kong as a stamina rework of Gale Wyvern, and even before the release, what ilinnuc liked most were the gorilla faces sculpted into the Blade.
Helm Knight was one of the first four Blades of Beyblade X and the first Defense Blade. The Helm Knight Blade is round and has six main contact points; its six defensive wings cushion hits and absorb attacks. On the Gear Chip, a knight wears a closed helmet. The type, however, is set by the Bit: the Taper Bit has a flat tip with a round surface around it. The flat tip produces aggressive attack movement, the round surface provides stamina, and that turns the Defense Blade into a Balance Bey. The 5-80 Ratchet is pentagonal and star-shaped, and at a height of 80 it is tall for a Balance Bey: it raises the center of gravity and so makes for more mobile, more aggressive play.
By tournament points, Yell Kong's 3-60 Ratchet ranks 3rd of 36 Ratchets, the Yell Kong Blade 89th of 110 Blades and the Gear Ball Bit 38th of 49 Bits (as of 1 September 2026). BeybladeGeeks and ilinnuc rate the 3-60 mostly positively for competitive play; for BeybladeGeeks it is a classic that is still constantly part of strong combos today. The verdict on the Gear Ball Bit is different: it is one of the Bits ilinnuc likes least, because a stamina Bit that grips the Xtreme Line has more chances to lose stamina. BeybladeGeeks see the Gear Ball as outclassed by the regular Ball Bit, and ilinnuc also prefers Ball or Free Ball, so a swap is worth it here. BeybladeGeeks would not buy the Yell Kong Blade itself. For Helm Knight, the Taper Bit ranks 14th of 49 Bits, the 5-80 Ratchet 24th of 36 Ratchets and the Helm Knight Blade 34th of 110 Blades (as of 1 September 2026). In June 2024, BeybladeGeeks still considered the Helm Knight Blade the best Defense type in Beyblade X, but in January 2026 they judged that it had been all but invisible in the meta of early Beyblade X. According to the Beyblade Wiki, it was popular in 3on3 decks until March 2024, then the heavier Wand Wizard Blade overtook it and took its place in defense and stamina combos.
Hasbro released the Dual Pack in the US in August 2024, and it followed in Canada on 11 September 2024. By then, Helm Knight 5-80T was already available in Japan: Takara Tomy released it as KnightShield 5-80T on 2 November 2023 in the DranDagger Deck Set.
The box contains exactly these two beys and no launcher: you need your own to launch them. Both beys belong to the BX line, and all their parts are legal for WBO tournaments (as of 6 July 2026). If you put Blade, Ratchet and Bit together in a new way, you change how the bey runs.
