Cobalt Drake 4-60F Hasbro G2736

An Attack Bey from the very first days of Beyblade X: it hits hard and still runs unusually steadily, because the low 4-60 ratchet and the Flat bit bring a lot of defense for an attacker. It no longer reaches the top of today's meta, but in the stadium it is still a lot of fun.

Description

The Cobalt Drake 4-60F is a right-spin Attack Bey from the BX line, and it stands steadier than Attack Beys usually do. The Cobalt Drake blade is a four-sided Attack blade. Underneath sits the 4-60 ratchet, a low ratchet — and a low Bey gives opposing blades less surface to hit. With a defense value of 13, this ratchet is high for an Attack Bey, and that helps the Bey stay in the stadium instead of flying out when it takes a hit. The Flat bit, too, has a defense value of 15, high for an Attack Bey: it pulls the centre of gravity down and keeps the run steady.

By tournament points, the 4-60 ratchet ranks 16th of 36 ratchets and the Flat bit 21st of 49 bits (as of 1 September 2026). BeybladeGeeks credit the Cobalt Drake with hard hits and see it as a Bey that used to be very good in competition. In today's meta BeybladeGeeks now see a few better options — that does not spoil their fun with the Cobalt Drake. The Flat bit they call a really good part. On the 4-60 ratchet the BeybladeGeeks verdict is mixed: most recently they praise it as a versatile ratchet for tournaments, before that it was too old and too burst-prone for them — two positive verdicts stand against three critical ones.

In the Beyblade X anime the Cobalt Drake can be seen in Khrome Ryugu's hands among others, for instance in episode 49. In episode 43 it settles a duel against Quinn Meju with an Xtreme Finish, and in episode 45 it takes the knockout in the final of the Amateur Cup.

The Bey was released on 14 September 2023 in Japan, where Takara Tomy puts it out; Hasbro sells it here as a Booster Pack in the Clear variant, which in Japan only appeared as a limited special edition.

The box holds the Bey alone — you buy a launcher separately. It belongs to the BX line, the Basic Line of Beyblade X. Blade, ratchet and bit are approved for WBO tournaments (as of 6 July 2026).
