Savage Bear 5-60F Hasbro G2735

An Attack-type Bey whose strength sits in the undercarriage: the 5-60 Ratchet is very versatile and runs in plenty of combos, and the Flat Bit is a really good part. The Bear Scratch Blade is more of a showpiece for the display case — in a tournament build it is worth swapping.

Description

The Savage Bear is an Attack-type Bey, and under its Blade sits a 5-60 Ratchet with five prongs — plenty of contact points for its type, and the more of them that interlock, the tighter the connection sits. A 60 Ratchet is also a low Ratchet, and a low Bey gives opposing Blades less surface to attack. The Flat Bit keeps it low as well: its defense value of 15 is high for an Attack-type Bey, so the centre of gravity sits lower and calmer, and the Bey is harder to push out of the stadium.

By tournament points the 5-60 Ratchet stands at rank 7 of 36 Ratchets and the Flat Bit at rank 21 of 49 Bits (as of 1 September 2026). BeybladeGeeks describe the 5-60 Ratchet as very versatile, a little old-fashioned, but well balanced — a Ratchet that runs in many different combinations and can be worth a deck slot. BeybladeGeeks call the Flat Bit a really good part: in their tests it pulls off plenty of Xtreme Dashes, though it does not trigger one on every run. The Xtreme Line is the outer lane of the Beyblade X stadium, and a Bey that catches it accelerates into an Xtreme Dash. The Bear Scratch Blade itself is worth swapping, though: we think it is cool as a collector's piece, but for performance they would practically never run it.

In the Beyblade X anime the Savage Bear competes in episode 80 among others, there in the hands of an unnamed Pro Blader. The episode also explains its calm run with a centre of gravity that sits on the inside.

The Bey was released on 12 October 2024 in Japan, where Takara Tomy includes it with the Double Xtreme Stadium Set. The orange Hasbro edition you get here followed in 2026.

The carton holds the Bey alone — you need a launcher separately. Blade, Ratchet and Bit are approved for WBO tournaments (as of 6 July 2026). The Savage Bear belongs to the BX range, the Basic Line of Beyblade X.
